Featured monologists include Ruby Lopez (she/her) and Dr. Morgan Henry Seamont (he/him) and music by acclaimed Colorado violinist Anthony Salvo.
Hosted by Rep. Brianna Titone, Colorado’s first transgender legislator, and co-hosted by Colorado President of the Senate Steve Fenberg (SD17), Sen. Sonya Jaquez Lewis (SD17), and Reps. Judy Amabile (HD49), Kyle Brown (HD12), Chad Clifford (HD37), Elizabeth Epps (HD6), Lorena Garcia (HD35), Leslie Herod (HD8), , Junie Joseph (HD10), Karen McCormick (HD11), Jennifer Lea Parenti (HD19), Elizabeth Velasco (HD57), and Stephanie Vigil (HD16). Each year on March 31, the world observes Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV) to raise awareness about transgender people. It is a day to celebrate our lives and contributions as trans people, while also drawing attention to the threats our community faces.
