Motus Theater invites you to a special adventure of improvisational theater where you hear Motus JustUs monologist, Terri House, share a personal story about the criminal legal system’s impact on her and her family. Afterward, we will reflect as a community on ways we each have negotiated love, judgment, and systems of harm in our own lives, and then watch as professional improv artists enact OUR stories on the spot. Musician Adolfo Romero will underscore the stories from the audience as we co-create a theater event whose subject is the life experiences of the people attending the show. What’s your story?
