Motus Theater worked with formerly incarcerated people from Colorado Springs in a 16-week autobiographical monologue workshop aimed at developing impactful stories about the consequences of incarceration and the injustice within the criminal justice system.
This is a film of the presentation of the JustUs monologues in front of 1,600 people at the National Association of Community and Restorative Justice conference in Denver in 2019 with law enforcement leaders and members of the Colorado State House joining the formerly incarcerated presenters on stage to read part of their stories.
