November 29, 2014 is the 150th Anniversary of the Sand Creek Massacre. Anniversaries are an opportunity to remember. We would like you to partner with Motus Theater this fall in engaging members of your community or congregation to remember, learn about Chief Niwot, the Sand Creek Massacre, Boulder’s history, and some of the historical figures that have worked to create a more equitable Boulder. We are asking you to join with Motus Theater to sponsor a three-part Motus Meal. Motus Meals is a discussion series reflecting on Boulder history, and the Sand Creek Massacre as portrayed in a film of Motus Theater’s Rocks Karma Arrows performance. In addition, we will encourage you to attend some of the programs from One Action 2012 that are being brought back this fall to encourage people to learn about Chief Niwot and the Sand Creek Massacre.
