Don’t miss the Lafayette premiere of the English language film of the powerful performance LAW ENFORCEMENT LEADERS READ ‘DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?’ After the screening, Motus Theater writer/performer Victor Galvan and Lafayette Police Chief Rick Bashor will engage the audience in a conversation.

Thank you to Santiago’s for providing a meal for the first 160 people attending the event! We will be serving chicken enchilada casserole, rice, and beans.

 

The performance LAW ENFORCEMENT LEADERS READ ‘DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?’ transformed our community and influenced the national conversation about the real lives behind DACA and immigration reform. The performance was featured on NPR’s Here & Now and Latino USA, USA Today, Fast Company, and American Theater, as well as on the front page of local newspapers.

On April 26, 5:30pm-8:00pm, at the Lafayette Public Library, join us to celebrate the undocumented leaders, who are fighting for a just immigration reform, and our local law enforcement officials, who are committed to protecting all members of our community no matter their immigration status.
